I awoke this morning thinking that it was going to be just another normal day. I reluctantly get out of bed, sleepy and groggy, inch my way into the shower and blast the hot water on face. After a well needed shower to wake up, a good scrubbing on my teeth and a dose of antibiotics for a cold I have been fighting, I proceed into our dark bedroom. I didn’t turn on the light; I didn't want to wake up my sleepy wife. So I dressed in the dark and as I was finishing up I noticed something outside. Something I have never seen before, everything was covered in white!! Apparently, the weather had done something unusual; it SNOWED! Now living in Michigan, we are not privy to this type of thing. I couldn't believe my eyes! I thought that a Cuban drug cartel had dumped their shipment or something of that sort. The entire neighborhood was cover in what looked like cocaine. Now the weatherman said it is actually frozen condensation from the atmosphere, but I decided to investigate further. Upon reaching the so called, "Snow," I picked some up in my hand. Though cold to the touch I still need further proof that this was in fact "Snow." As I proceeded to raise my hand to my nose, I had half expected to gain my morning high from this cold coke. As it turns out, the weatherman was right and I was wrong, IT WAS SNOW!!! Now imagine my confusion. Michigan? Snow? This never happens. Apparently, I wasn't the only one with this mentality. On my way to work, driving of course, it felt as if I was driving on oil. Slipping and sliding all over the place, I inched and inched through my subdivision. When I reached the main road is when I knew that I was not alone. EVERYBODY was feeling the effects of this "Snow." We all drove at a mere FIVE mph and carefully drove ourselves to work. People carefully turning corners and making sure their cars were completely stopped in order to do so. I have never seen anything like this, and I SURE AS HELL have never driven in this type of condition. I know that everyone was a scared as I was, because they were driving just like me. Never have I driven to work, not knowing what might come next. Cars coming to a stop 100 miles before stop signs and stop lights, trailing cars with not the standard car length, but with 20 car lengths. I am thankful that everyone was driving the same way; otherwise I am not sure how I would have managed to make it to work in an hour and a half.
In closing I just wanted to share my befuddlement with you all. After all I am sure that you were just as amazed as I was to see this once in a lifetime weather condition. I sure you are all with me in saying that this so called, "Snow" may have caused some problems today, but least it will never happen again.

It just amazes me that students at the University of Connecticut (Uconn), can treat conservative political speakers the way they do. Recently, columnist Ann Coulter was speaking at an OBVIOUSLY non-conservative school (or at least it seems). After 15 min of her speech, the students that didn't agree with what she was saying were jeering her with loud boos and acting in TOTAL disrespect for her speech. She then got fed up with her treatment and spoke her mind about what she thought of those particular people. She said, "I love to engage in repartee with people who are stupider than I am," which ensued protest of her intolerance and one student said "We encourage diverse opinion at Uconn, but this is blatant hate speech." Hey! JACKASS, wasn't your idiotic classmates that disrupted her speech to begin with. If your inconsiderate, rude and "free minded" alma mater would have keep their pieholes shut, maybe her speech would have been over before you know it. you could of had your debate, a quick Q&A and be done. Now this is not the first time that this has happened that Uconn. Last April, a conservative speaker named Warrior (Jim Hellwig), was speaking at the college and a near riot broke out, because of the same unjust treatment of yet another conservative speaker. He was asked to speak there to bring in the "republican" point of view. the crowd didn't like what they heard, so instead of debating in a Q&A, they disrespected him, by yelling, and demanding apologies. Warrior got fed up and fired back at them, just as Ann Coulter did. You know, people call conservative republicans "close minded," WHAT IN THE BLOODY, BLUE BLAZING, CRACK HOLE HELL DO YOU CALL THIS!!!!!!!! Your supposed term of "opened mind" was just shot to shit. Don't get me wrong I am all about speaking your mind, but THERE IS A TIME AND A PLACE FOR REBUTTALS. If you don't agree with the person, you debate them. You don't stand up and scream bloody murder at the speaker and if you are offended, LEAVE! It just shows me that if you do not support the Democratic/Liberal party at Uconn, your speech will fall on def ears and you are wasting your time. Not only that, but some students are in desperate need of Manners and Respect 101. Thank you Uconn for giving me more of a reason to not to support your or your party's politics.

Holy craziness BATMAN!! This weekend was chalked full of good times. Friday, I lost my ass at poker not once, but twice!! Then Saturday.....wow.....all day......Saturday...geez....I....we all....drunk.....tattoos.....wow. I drink, I fall and I hurt. I am still feeling the effects of Saturday night. My tattoo turned out great and I couldn't be happier. Thank you to all the came out and a special thanks to my father for driving our drunk asses around. I woke up yesterday to find out that I had to be carried into my house, then locked myself in my bathroom and proceeded to vomit everything left in my stomach. We started out at Walters Speak Easy on Beech and Joy. Not a bad place, played pool, left and went to Knockouts for karaoke. I had some shots, some beers, free wings, more free shots. Tried to do my patented, jump on the table and sing.......That didn't work out so well. Knocked over two different tables, broke/stress fractured a couple bones in my right foot and then someone had the bright idea of going to Henry the Eighths. I am going to kill whom ever suggested it, and I really hope it wasn't me. Anyway, I am alive at least and I am now trying to piece back the night. Good times had by all and I am OFFICIALLY ON THE WAGON FOR A WHILE!!!!
On a side note, I hope my lovely bride feels better. I will say a prayer for you bebee!! I LOVE YOU!

and my B. Party is on saturday. We aren't going to do much but just get wasted and go bar hopping. My dad was nice enough to rent a 15 passenger van and my brother-in-law is driving a suburban to cart our drunk asses around. It makes me feel a lot better that we have a DD for the night. We are all going to meet at my house in Garden City around 6 or so to "Pre-Game" and then we are off to the races. So I am going to be making the rounds today to make sure that everyone knows when to be at my house. ROCK!!

If you don't like my opinion don't read this. I know I said that I would never comment on this shit again, but I am so furious about this I have to vent somewhere....and NO you can't comment, because I don't care what you think either.
The federal courts in CA have their heads up their asses. The fact that they are even taking that dickbag seriously is bullshit. You cannot change a pledge that has stood for decades upon decades just because one atheist thinks it is unconstitutional. If you don't like it, don't say it. It is voluntary in the schools and no one if forced to say it. Savor your 15 minutes bitch because you are 14 into it. That guy needs to be lynched.

Things have been nuts the last few weeks/months. Aleta and I have been living like hermits for that time working on out house. The downstairs is COMPLETELY done and our living room actually has a TV and bean bag chairs. Aleta calls it some funky French word that I can't spell, but it is pronounced Fung Shway. We haven't seen any our my friends in that time unless they stopped by, WHICH IS ALWAYS WELCOME--hint--hint. All in all, things are progressing nicely and we couldn't be happier. Our wedding shower is on the 18th and we get married in about 45 days or so. The invites have been sent out except for a few that my mom has been slacking on, we have the dinner picked out for the reception, my bachelor party is on the 24th, and all is good. This weekend should be fun though, we are taking a break from the house and going to the renaissance Festival and I am going into Johnny studio to finish up some guitar tracks for him. Coo-coo, see ya!
